October is a great month for outdoor activities, snorkeling, sailing and off course the unique adventure of riding an ATV/UTV around Aruba.
October is Pink as this color symbolized Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The familiar pink ribbon stands for prevention, detection, treatment and increase breast cancer awareness. We believe is our duty towards our family, friends, and community to spread the word and participate in the awareness campaign.
But October is also orange, pumpkins, spices, rustling leaves and brilliant carrots. In Aruba you will find an amazing pumpkin soup ´sopi di calbas´ or pumpkin stew ´calbas largo stoba´.
The birthstone for October is Opal and the alternative October birthstone is Pink Tourmaline. I´m not sure what this means, but so far October is a month of many colors.
Come to Aruba to enjoy the many colors of October, you will find them all together, magically melted in every single SUNSET, a unique experience that is waiting for you!
