ATV’s – UTV’s tours with Action Tours take between 3.5 to 4.0 hours. After you have been pick-up at your hotel or meeting point, you will be transported to our headquartes.
At the start of the tour you will receive a safety briefing and a short crash course on how to drive an ATV & UTV. During the briefing our safe and responsible driving policies will be explained. The drive itself is controlled and easy to do since all our vehicles are automatic. To drive an ATV you need to be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid driver license. Children older than 9 years old can often be brought along with the tour in a UTV or 12 years in a ATV. Please check with us prior to make reservations with children.
After the introduction the real tour will start. You will follow the tour guide on your ATV and stop at several scenic points along the way. Our tour stops at great local stores where you will be able to meet locals, drink ‘awa di coco’ and other local snacks and drinks along your way.
During some these stops you will have the opportunity to take great pictures and get an explanation about relevant Aruban History.
WHAT TO BRING ON AN ATV TOUR?
The tours themselves provide safety equipment such as helmets but you should make sure to bring the following items yourself:
- Closed-toe shoes (recommended)
- Sunscreen
- Towel (recommended)
- Cash for drinks, snacks, souvenirs and tips (recommended)
